Live Streaming with Penn State at the THINK Center

The Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce hosted a discussion at the Think Center in Downtown Wilkes-Barre by Penn State University and we were there to Live Stream it to Facebook.

The Ins and Outs of Internships, moderated by Sue Chappell, PSU, and with a panel consisting of Lisa Hall Zielinski, Scranton SBDC; Joe Boylan, Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Business & Industry; Maureen Ciliberto, PSU Wilkes-Barre; Theresa Clemente, PSU Wilkes-Barre and Carl Witkowski, Berkshire Hathaway Guard Insurance Companies, the discussion covered topics ranging from what students look for in an internship, to what local businesses should do to better engage with universities to bring interns in.

This is the first time we’ve taken our Live Streaming production to the THINK Center, and appreciate the opportunity to work with all organizations involved!

What did we learn for our next Live Streams?

One of the things we learned from working with Penn State and the Chamber on the Internship Live Stream was that we’d like to focus some attention on furthering our audio equipment.  It’s something we’ve already been putting together from tests we’ve done with CHIKARA in Philadelphia. We are creating our own mobile, professional-level solution for businesses and we want to help provide a much clearer sound and experience for the at-home viewers in as many scenarios as we can come up with.
