CoalCreative’s Month in Review – September

Our month at CoalCreative has been one of the busiest yet this year. With the changing of the seasons came tons of great video shoot opportunities, the finishing touches on some fun projects, and also some cool stuff going on in our lives outside of work.

Over the course of the month, we were able to shoot at many different locations in the Tunkhannock area for a video project we are working on with the Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce. Tunkhannock Tattoo, Twigs Cafe, Nimble Hill Winery & Vineyard, and the Shadowbrook Resort are just a few of the places they got to shoot. Sam’s favorite, however, was the Wyoming County Fair. He loved the rodeo, all the great food and live entertainment. Creekside Gardens was Holly’s favorite because she got to go inside the butterfly house and get some beautiful flowers.

In addition to the shoots in the Wyoming County, we finished up a few projects we had been working. An animated video for SignalLamp Health was a long term project that we were really proud of when it was finished. We also got to shoot a promo video for Dress for Success Luzerne County‘s Diamonds in the Woods Event at Valentines Jewelry in Dallas. The video we shot for the United Way Annual Campaign was a project we were really proud of, and was shown at the Annual Fund Campaign Dinner this month. Our Spotlight videos for the September Wilkes-Barre Connect Spotlight event were debuted this week at the event with excellent reception.

We have been working closely with Northeast Sight Services on a video for their centennial dinner throughout the month as well. Stay tuned to our social media for more on that project that has been months in the making.

Outside of work, our team has had a really busy month as well. Our project manager Jess was nominated at the 2018 Young Professional Awards for Intern of the Year for her work as an intern at CoalCreative. It was announced just this week that Holly will be putting her background in dance to use as a judge for Kiss Theatre’s Dancing Stars of Wilkes-Barre 2018. Matt released his new online portfolio, which you can view here. Lastly, after months of hard work, Sam dropped his new EP titled Noxen. You can check it out on TuneFly here.
