Wow, What a Week! | April Showers bring…May Showers?

This past week was rainy but ended with a beautiful Friday afternoon and we had a really exciting week! Holly and Sam spent Monday morning live streaming from the THINK Center. From 11 o’clock to 1, PlanGuru‘s CEO, Christian Wielage, gave an informative session on how a meaningful budgeting/forecasting process can help you make better business decisions and become more profitable. PlanGuru is also one of CoalCreative’s favorite clients, so it was great to get to work with both them and the Chamber of Commerce Monday morning.

Wednesday, we had a team photo shoot that proved that none of us could stay still for long enough to take more than one good photo (see above for proof). That night Holly and Sam attended the Wilkes-Barre Connect Pitch event to support one of our own, Gerard, as he pitched Powerbomb TV. Thursday we picked up our United Way Day of Caring t-shirts and Matt so graciously modeled his creation. Day of Caring is one of CoalCreative’s favorite team bonding events. We cannot wait until this upcoming Thursday to participate in cleaning up the Riverfront and making it b-e-a-utiful!

Friday Holly and I got the opportunity to sit down and brainstorm some ideas for projects for our incoming Summer 2018 interns, and we are super excited to see what they do over the summer semester. Stay tuned to our social media to learn more about them!
